Alpine’s Motive Power Divisional Headquarters is located in Redford, MI, just outside of Detroit. Alpine's motive power division provides forklift battery solutions to Detroit and the Southeast Michigan marketplace. When it came time to revamp the sales area the outdated desks had to go. Modern workstations were installed using acoustic panels and “L” shaped worksurfaces. Because of the low ceiling glass sections were incorporated to allow light to flow into the work area.

Argent specializes in creating innovative adhesive-backed solutions for the automotive, electronics, marine, and general industrial markets. The marketing room was long and narrow but needed to hold 8 people. Height adjustable desking was required. The design was able to incorporate mobile storage, stationary storage, and shelving above a height-adjustable desk.

To further the ergonomic mission, dual monitor arms, and highly adjustable seating were installed at each station. The end result was a highly functional creative space that did not seem cramped.

Black Diesel Coffee is a third-wave independent coffee bar serving incredible single-origin coffees, loose-leaf teas, and other craft beverages & food. Black Diesel Barista School worked hard to complete the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Premier Training Campus program. When the school was designed with a classroom, kitchen, cupping room and office space.



The owner wanted a clean and simple space that was modern yet functional. With the primary focus on the coffee, the furniture had to be complementary to the space. Using the corporate color pattern, we were able to put together a design that blended with the new office aesthetic.

As an automotive data collection company, A2Mac1 wanted furniture for their production facility that could accommodate small parts photography as well as ergonomics for their employees. Each workstation contains a white photographic surface, individual storage, power and data infrastructure, and personal storage. The lab environment necessitated all hard surfaces with provisions for CPUs to be suspended from the worksurfaces. Ergonomic seating was added for employee comfort.
